Valley Christian Athletic Association: Mission Statement
The Board of Directors of VCAA holds to one accord the truths that reflect the heart of each board member. Each board member is committed to study God’s Word and the practical application of its principles in their own lives and the lives of their families.
The Board of Directors holds to the following Mission Statement:

To teach players that whatever they do, they would do it for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To teach, build and encourage Christian character development in each player.

To teach players the fundamental skills of baseball/softball and how to play the game.

To teach players to strive for excellence on and off the field of competition.

To teach players the value of hard work and practice in preparation for competition.

To teach players to strive to give their best effort and realize that in doing so, the rewards far exceed the score at the end of the competition.

To teach players to exercise self-control and humility on and off the field of competition.

To teach players to compete as team members and not as individuals, while continuing to strive for individual excellence.

To teach players to enjoy the games of baseball/softball.

To remember that the greatest example we can give to our players is not in the things we say, but in the actions we model daily in front of our players.
